Jump Start Your New Year's Resolutions With These Colorado Runs!Amazing, Fun-Filled Exercise Opportunities to Start off the New Year

It is time to finalize your New Year’s Resolutions and get started on making a difference for the start of the New Year. One of the most obvious and most popular New Year’s Resolutions that nearly everyone adds to their list each year are fitness goals. Whether you are looking to lose weight, tone up, or just simply start living a healthier lifestyle, participating in one of the January Denver, Colorado races is a great way to start the New Year on the right foot. We suggest showing your skills by participating in one of these local runs:

Commitment Day 5K – Aurora

What a better way to start working towards your New Year’s Resolution than by starting on the 1st of the month? On New Year’s Day, the Commitment Day 5K Run and Walk takes place at Life Time Fitness in Parker-Aurora. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., this amazing race allows you to promote the nationwide effort of fostering a healthy population. This nonprofit organization puts 100% of donations directly towards the mission at hand, since Life Time puts up all administrative costs. This is definitely a race that you and your family will want to participate in to start the New Year off on a fresh running foot.

Polar Bear 5K

On January 18th, head over with the entire family to this amazing race that benefits an even better cause! There are four more races of the Run Denver series, and we recommend participating in them all to ensure that you stick to your New Year’s Resolutions! This is a great way to include everyone, no matter what his or her running or walking skills may be. With a 5K run, kids run, and a 5K walk, this is an excellent way to get the whole family together for some exercise fun!
